Designing My Magazine

Now that I have all the tools and information the time to design my actual magazine has finally come! 

I am ready to create my final product or the very first issue of Travel Tropical. I decided that I would create this issue using Adobe software. After discussing with a friend of mine who is well versed in this software program they informed me that InDesign is a platform that would allow me to create a professional product that would live up to my expectations for the magazine. Because I am not familiar with InDesign and have yet to use the platform I went to google and YouTube to learn how to use the tools in this platform.

Through my research online and the YouTube videos I watched I was able to trouble shoot any issue I faced in creating my magazine on InDesign, and was able to use the tools of this platform to create the layout that I wanted. I believe that using Adobe software will elevate my designs and allow me to create  more impressive magazine. The use of this technology is challenging my skills and extending my technical knowledge, which will benefit me in the future as well. Further this software allows me to be more creative and does not restrict me in any way while creating my finished product.

Magazine Cover Picture

It has finally come to the point where I have started to actually create my final product of the very first issue of my magazine Travel Tropical. For my magazine the first step was designing my cover. In order to begin my design I needed to look back at my pictures and desire what photo would work best as the very first thing my audience would see. I included some of the photos I took that were my top considerations for the cover picture along with the picture I intended to use.

Behind the Scenes

While taking my pictures for the magazine I decided to photograph as much as I could at every place I went to so that I would have a lot of options as far as pictures to choose from. While taking these pictures I also had my dad photograph my in this process of trying to to capture these perfect moments. I did this to share a bit of the behind the scenes with you guys and share this overall process of capturing my photos.
