For my magazine I wanted to do some more investigation into what locations I should specifically highlight throughout my magazine. In order to first find some locations, I researched popular locations throughout the island of Puerto Rico and looked specifically for places and activities accessible to tourist that would appeal to my audiences.
I looked for locations both on the coast and in the cities around the island as well as in the mountains. I also had to cross reference every location I found with its accessibility to myself, as I would have to photograph this place once I vacationed there. Each location would have to fit in to my itinerary and be easy for me to travel to. This posed as an obstacle as I could not simply choose just any location. Additionally, I had to consider cost of each activity, as some things would be too costly to consider. Below I listed each location that I would consider including in my magazine while comparing how popular the location was according to the survey I previously sent out.
Isabela Beach:
From my research on Isabela beach I decided that this would likely be a very good location for me to include in my magazine. This beach is not only beautiful, but is typically populated no just be residents and tourists, but mainly by surfers. This beach is known around the island for being a great spot for surfing. This is because the waves crash against the rocky shore creating a perfect spot for surfing. The location is so popular and renowned that people travel for the opportunity to surf, here.
San Sebastian Festival:This festival is a great attraction for any and all visitors to the island of Puerto Rico. Not only is this festival a fun and interactive activity, but it is a great opportunity for visitors to experience the culture of this country, and gain a greater idea for what these people celebrate and value. This festival highlights Puerto Rican culture and history and give visitors an opportunity to explore the art and food of this culture.
Old San Juan:Old San Juan is a small town on the coast of the city of San Juan. This town is rich in culture and history as it is also the location of many historical sites such as Castillo San Felipe del Morro. This is a historical fortress that protected the city from attacks and invasions in past wars. A well-known museum known as Casa Blanca is also present here. These locations make the town more attractive to visitors as they are mainly visited and toured by travelers. This town is also very colorful and great for pictures, while also having many shops and restaurants serving both authentic and other worldly cuisines.
Boating/Sailing:

There are many great spots for fishing, boating, sailing, and other water activities around the coasts of Puerto Rico. Because this is a smaller island water activities are extremely popular, and there are many businesses that offer boating and other water services. As a visitor or resident you can charter a boat to take out for a water tour, swimming, fishing, and other activities, which are frequented by both travelers and those native to the island. Excursions vary in prices and services, but are also numerous and found all around the coasts.
Juan Diego Falls:
One of the main geological features of Puerto Rico is its luxurious mountains, which offer a great place for hiking and exploring the many trails present throughout these rainforest. Many of these trails lead or pass by rainfalls and streams that are both picturesque, but on occasion accessible to hikers. One popular waterfall is the Juan Diego Falls, which is accessible as those willing to hike there can enjoy teh waters, swimming beneath the falls and taking in the nature and beautiful view.
Distrito T-Mobile
The T-Mobile District or Distrito T-Mobile is a modern area in the heart of San Juan. This district of area is full of restaurants serving a large variety of food and drinks. Along with that, there are many shops, cubs, bars, and even bowling allies and arcades throughout this area. The T-Moble District is popular amongst the residents of Puerto Rico, but is also a great place to visit as a traveler, as you can enjoy the night life and occasional live music.
